Children – they are always children…
They like to play, want to be happy, to learn something new, to study…this is the same for all children and it doesn’t matter if they are children of people who use drugs….
To provide support to such children – is a part of the mission of the Andrey Rylkov Foundation.
Our dreams and plans to support children from socially deprived families of people who use drugs started to come true on the New Year Hollidays this year when we managed to raise some funding for presents and to organize a New Year party for a few children by bringing a Grandfather Frost and Snow Maiden to them.
Being inspired by a very positive reaction of children, who were smiling and whispering that they will be waiting for the Grandfather Frost next year, we decided to continue and do something else for these children. Thus this year we brought children to a number of interesting places like Moscow Planetarium and the interactive museum “Experimentrium”. And we are really thankful to all the organizations which supported this our work and these children and provided them with free tickets and excursions to visit all these places.
The 1st of September is upcoming – the day when all children in Russia go to school. And we want very much that at that day children of people who use drugs whom we work with have everything they need to go to school this year. Exercise books, pens, albums, paints, pencils, rubbers….although sometimes not so cheap but all this is affordable for children from socially well-being families. But for the majority of children from families of people who use drugs to have all these school supplies and of a good quality could be a luxury. Not mentioning the shool bags where they can put all this “luxury”.
So let’s help them to get the new shool bags properly packed!
